My son is a visual learner and he loves interactive activities. I just found this great online resource. It is an interactive activity called Vocabulário da Casa, a project of the Diversidade Linguistica na Escola Portuguesa.
Children can explore different rooms in the house and by clicking on the images, they can hear (Click in Ouvir) how the word sounds in Portuguese. Just for fun, the sound is also available in Crioulo de Cabo Verde, Mandarin, Ukcranian and even Guzarate (Gujarati)!
